Why I chose Selfridges

The reason why I chose to create this service for a brand like Selfridges is because of the highly established name this has achieved since launching in 1910. Ever since then the brand has achieved massive success and recognition from people all over the country and somewhat the whole world due to the concessions this sells. Selfridges as a department store provides consumers with everything that they could possibly need or want under the one roof. This including clothing, accessories, make up, footwear, home ware products, electrical goods, furniture, food, drinks and an overall amazing shopping experience. This is an expensive store which has very high prices but you get what you pay for and feel welcomed by the brand which makes the consumer feel special. Everybody loves to walk around with a Selfridges bag and that can happen from £5 sweets/cake to thousands of pounds all dependent on budget.
With this being so, it is understandable that this targets people of all ages for different reasons which is another reason why I chose my service to be launched here. This would attract new consumers as well as the existing.

With this new flower service that I am providing for consumers at Selfridges this is another section covered by the brand which gives consumers no reason to go elsewhere in terms of events. By offering this unique service to Selfridges alone this allows this brand to stand out for being unique and offering more reasons to shop at Selfridges over everywhere else.

With Selfridges they would have the budget to try something like this out in a few of the bigger, popular stores which again, is another reason why I chose Selfridges. This is due to me walking round a few weeks ago taking everything in noticing that this is the only service that they are yet to offer. This is something I think could take off for the brand and this could act as a new USP to the brand.


I will have to identify how the brand works,  the style this maintains, the consumer they target along with secondary and aspirational  consumers, and how this service will be beneficial to them and bring them money.
