Creative Photoframe

This was again another product area that stood out to me during my research. This was found on a tumblr site which i found very interesting to come across as it is similar to the work and style that Rob Ryan takes but again has it's own unique set up. With this, i found that I would take the whole frame approach along with personalised messaged but then add real life/dried flowers into the background which would then allow this to stand and become unique to the person this is being purchased for. With the gift becoming more person, this would hopefully encourage consumers to make purchases due to this being one off and being unique, only being designed when asked so there would never be two of the same style. This can be the problem with unique and innovative purchases, consumers want to know that this is rare and one of a kind and I would then be able to agree to this with these then being hand crafted and create upon order and messaged.
The idea of the frame would become creative as the flowers would then be able to be replaced when it looks as if they are coming to the end of their life. This would then allow this to be seen as an excuse to again visit Selfridges and re-stock the frame with different flowers which would be able to be hand picked to your own style/taste.
I believe this could be a great idea and not only would it make consumers go back to a Selfridges store but it is giving them that re-assurance that they might need that this gift is personal and will never been see again. This could make the home decoration stand out and allow the word of the service to be spread by word of mouth and by showing others the gift.
This is just an idea, I want to ensure that I have researched into the floral aspect enough before branching out into other ideas so I will come back to this at a later stage.
