Missguided Pop up Stall Idea

Missguided is another solely online based fashion brand that is reasonably priced and attracts a vast amount of custom due to the cheap and affordable clothing, accessories and footwear. This has recently took off and offers student discount which adds as a massive bonus. However, like all other online based stores this does come with down sides for example, you can not try the garments on, there can be hassle with the delivery and returning of the clothing so this is where my idea to introduce a pop up stall for the brand came in.

With this being a lower budgeted brand they would not be able to take that risk and open a store straight away which is why I thought that the idea of a pop up stall could test the waters and identify whether this would be a success. This then allows the consumers to try on the garments, introduce their friends to the brand and also see a different side to the brand with this being featured outdoors.

The idea of the stall would work by travelling around the major cities in UK for a selective amount of time which would be thought about in more depth if this idea were my chosen one. This would allow each big city to showcase Missguided to their population of locals and also allow people to travel from city to city if they wanted to do so.

In terms of promotion, there would be an added tab onto the existing website to inform the consumers of where the stall will be and when it will be there until and show exactly what location will be selling what. Mail outs for existing customers, leaflets on the streets of the cities, posters on the walls/adshels to allow this to become known and a little magazine would be given to show what will be coming soon to the online section giving them a heads up. Additionally, this would be reinforced through all of their social networking sites to allow the adverisments to reach existing as well as new customers. This would not be too expensive for the brand and would allow them to determine if they could eventually launch a store.
