Customer Profiling

With Selfridges being a department store this then means that it attracts all consumers all ages which is hard to determine where the main attraction comes from. With this being so, i will look to the likes of liberty London for a comparison and see what there main focus is. If this proves to have the same issue then i will research into consumer behaviour regarding buying flowers and the average age of consumers who are into flowers/ flower trends/ pieces/ anything floral related and work around that.  This will show me and age range which i will then be able to break down into sections which will include core consumer, aspirational consumer and thirtiary consumer. As this will be my plan of action, i will then create a brief outline for each consumer focusing in on a day in the life of the consumer. This will feature what they do on a regular basis from the moment they wake up to the minute they then go to sleep of a night which will indicate why or how they manage to fit a trip to Selfridges into their routine which will come under their hobbies.

This will basically support and reinforce the type of consumer that is likely to make a purchase and appreciate the service in which i am going to be providing the audience with. This will all link in with the desirability of the product stating how this will make the brand further profit ratings making this a success allowing future developments in the future.

Now i will begin by creating a brief outline of the overall consumer age and distinguish the sectors identifying which consumer will fall into each part.
