Nasty Gal launch in the UK Idea

Nasty Gal is an American based online clothing, accessories and footwear distributor that is currently only based online. This is a highly demanded brand that ships all over the world for a large amount of money which can usually add quite abit of money to your order when you consider shipping fee and then incoming tax fee ontop of this. This can somewhat steer people away from making an order with Nasty Gal. So, although it is a popular brand it would be even more popular if that added amount of money was to be removed from your order as you would feel more satisfied with the goods due to a lower price. With this being so this is where my idea came for the Launch of the Nasty Gal in the UK.

This could be an extremely beneficial service to provide the UK with due to the quicker arrival and also the knowledge that if it is faulty or too big/small it is easily sent back.

As far as England are concerned they are unaware of how Nasty Gal advertise due to this being an overseas based brand. They do not know what any forms of promotion look like other than the website. This would totally work in my favour as I would then be able to start this up from scratch creating a whole new form of promotion/style for the brand. This would be extremely enjoyable and give me open reigns of which direction to go down with this.

In terms of competition, the like of ASOS and Missguided would be where I go to for inspiration to see how they advertise and how they keep the consumer intrigued by the new garments. This would then be reinforced with a british website, handouts, mail outs, pop up stalls to visit all locations, a british app for the brand and the use of social media. If this proves to be a success from being based online, this could possibly venture out and create a store possibly in London/Birmingham where the population is largely scaled.

There would be a motivating message behind this allowing the consumer to become confident with ordering from this site so they would see the difference. Additionally, they would also get it due to the benefits of this conveying a new style for the brand in the UK. They would then be encouraged to participate from this site and share what they know about this to their friends/family.

So overall, this could be a great success. In terms of budget I would start off low and if it makes money then begin promoting this on a large scale.
